Graphic Nature – The Nu-Metal boys are back!

Kent born Nu-Metal piece Graphic Nature had their biggest year in 2025. At least that’s how frontman Harvey Freeman sees it, after a quick chat with him after their set at TakeDown Festival, which marks their first performance of 2026, after a 5 month long break.

Following the headliner set on the Metal for Good stage, the group release “Faceless”, a new punchy tune that comes with the same aggression of their 2024 album “Who Are You When No One Is Watching”.

April 30th the lads take over The Dome, following a change from the main room into the downstairs venue, this didn’t deter the crowd nor the bands from putting on truly a beast of a show.

Hardcore/Metalcore mix Greysight, coming from Leeds, turned the heat on early with punchy drum tones, aggressive vocals and a wild stage presence. While the band is young and so is their music, they have clearly tapped into something that works and brought their A-game to this one.

FROZEMODE were a new one for me, and for a fair few others in the room. That however did not mean a thing once they took to the stage. A complex group, with a bunch of balaclavas wearing players on guitars and drums, and with a trio of vocalists each very different from the other in range, tone and approach, it was for sure one of the most interesting sets we’ve covered so far.

A blend of rap-metal, grime, trap and even some industrial edm sprinkled into the mix, the trio share their vocals in an insanely harmonious way. You’d expect it to be chaotic, and it is, but never in technique or presence. The chaos came purely in the energy they all unleashed into the room, with stage divers, crowd surfers, moshers and everything in between thrown in throughout their set.

Graphic Nature take to stage with a roaring crowd cheering them on. The band has been on a consistent rise in the last two years, touring heavily in 2025 with bands such as Stray From The Path on their final EU/UK tour, Swedish Nu Metalcore THROWN, as well as a full summer festival run.

They start with staples “Into The Dark”, “Sleepless” and “Sour” from their 2023 debut album “A Mind Waiting To Die” followed by fan favourites “N.F.A”, “Locked In” and later on “Human” from “Who Are You When No One Is Watching”.

The new song “Faceless”, even though barely released, see the crowd singing along to every word, and it shows a great new direction for the band.

What always stands out with Graphic Nature is their violent take on sensitive subjects, a heavy focus on mental health, neurodivergence and systemic urban decay, all whilst mixing it with a tight drum tone, hip-hop and industrial elements backed by heavy breakdowns and a larger than life stage presence.

Early on in their set frontman Harvey Freeman asks the crowd the classic “who’s seen us before?” which gets an ear-ringing cheer from the tightly packed crowd, in comparison to the much more quiet answer to the flip of the question.

Safe to say that they are one of UK’s most beloved in the scene, and all for good reason as they always give everything on stage, putting on some of the highest energy shows and truly caring for their fans. Will also appreciate the Faceless encore, we know you don’t do this often!
